Date ???? - Court of Appeals Decision
May 31, 2006 - Our Marriage Lawsuit Appeal argued before New York's top court, The Court of Appeals.
October 17, 2005 - Our Marriage Lawsuit Appeal will be
argued before the Third Department in Albany, NY. All three
marriage cases in the Third Department. will be heard on the same
day. The cases are first on the list for the day, in this
order: 1. Samuels, 2. Kane (the two Albany cases) and
3. Seymour v. Holcomb.
May 5, 2004 - ILGBTTF
creates Marriage Equality Fund to raise funds
in support of educational and advocacy efforts toward marriage
equality.
June 2, 2004 - Ithaca, NY - Press conference held at the main court house.
June 2, 2004 - Ithaca, NY - Twenty-five same-sex couples
filed a lawsuit today in New York State Supreme Court, Tompkins
County, seeking a declaration from the Court that they have a
constitutional right to marry, and seeking an injunction requiring
the Ithaca City Clerk to issue them marriage licenses. 6-2-2004 Press Release

January 14, 2005 - Elmira, NY - Our case was heard on by
state Supreme Court Justice Robert C. Mulvey in Elmira.
February 23, 2005 - Elmira, NY - A decision was made on February 23, 2005

May 27, 2005 - Ithaca, NY - Attorneys for the plaintiffs file appeal brief with the Appellate Division in Albany.
Latest: Most likely, our case and the other two marriage equality cases in the Third Department will all be argued at the same appellate term, and we think it will be some time in October.
